So, Is a Lizard in Your House a Bad Sign?
Usually, no.
There are many cultural beliefs about lizards being signs of good luck, bad luck, visitors or upcoming events. However, there is no scientific evidence that finding a gecko in your house predicts the future.
The more practical explanation is much simpler:
A gecko has probably found food and shelter.
If you don’t want them indoors, reduce the insects that attract them, keep doors and windows well sealed, and close cracks or gaps where they can enter.
And the next time you see one quietly sitting on the wall, remember: it may be there because your house has become a convenient hunting ground—not because something mysterious is about to happen.
