A Fake HOA Cop Pointed a Gun at Me for Refusing to Hand Over My House Key—Then His HOA Boss Realized They Had Targeted a U.S. Army Veteran

Home.

I sometimes think about the sentence Darren used before everything collapsed.

“You don’t get to decide that.”

He meant the key.

He believed the HOA decided.

Brenda believed she decided.

But property rights, contracts, laws, and consent do not disappear because someone speaks confidently.

There are limits.

There must be.

Without limits, authority becomes coercion.

Without accountability, rules become weapons.

Brenda did not go to prison because I disagreed with an HOA policy.

She went to prison because she pushed false authority until it became a criminal scheme.

Darren did not lose his freedom because he wore the wrong vest.

He pointed a firearm at somebody while attempting to enforce that scheme.

The association did not collapse because residents suddenly hated neighborhood rules.

It collapsed because trust disappeared.

Trust is the one thing no governing document can force back into existence.

You can collect dues.

You can levy assessments.
