For Months, My 14-Year-Old Daughter Wore Only Black, Long-Sleeved Clothes, Even in Summer. She Hid Her Face Behind Dark Hair, Kept Her Arms Covered, and Barely Spoke. One Day, I Finally Asked, “Has Someone Been Hurting You?” She Turned Pale, Locked the Door, and Slowly Took Off Her Shirt. What I Saw Underneath Left Me Speechless…

Whenever Robert tried to hug her, Emily pulled away.

Whenever he asked why she refused to participate in his classes, she remained silent.

One evening, Robert simply placed his hand on her shoulder.

Emily flinched in pain.

“Don’t touch me!”

Robert immediately pulled his hand away.

“Emily, I was just—”

“I SAID DON’T TOUCH ME!”

My daughter ran upstairs and slammed her bedroom door.

For the first time, I saw genuine fear in my husband’s eyes.

“Sarah, I don’t know what’s happening to her,” he whispered.

But from that day on, I began having terrible suspicions of my own.

A few days later, Emily’s homeroom teacher called.

“Mrs. Sarah, we need to have a serious conversation. Your daughter refuses to participate in physical education, especially when her father is teaching.”

“Maybe she just doesn’t enjoy sports anymore.”

The teacher hesitated.

“Yesterday, one of the girls noticed that Emily wouldn’t even change clothes in front of her classmates. When they asked why, she started crying.”
