They abandoned me 480 kilometers away as a joke.

He handed me a business card.

“If you tell your story, you could prevent others from being harmed.”

I accepted the card.

Before leaving, Kyle paused at the door.

“For what it’s worth, I’m glad you’re rid of me. You deserved better.”

Then he left without looking back.

PART 3 — THE WOMAN WHO LEFT
Four months later, I found myself inside a courtroom, dressed in a navy blazer, and I told a jury what Kyle and his brothers had done.

Brad and Chase sat at the defense table without cameras, laughter, or trust. Their latest victim, Jessica, had suffered a severe panic attack after they locked her in an office building to film one of their videos.

The prosecution used my testimony to demonstrate that his behavior was not an isolated bad decision, but a pattern of conduct.

I described the desert heat, the empty road, and the terror of realizing I had no money, no ID, and no reliable way to ask for help. I explained the petty humiliations I had suffered before and the damage done when people who claimed to care about me repeatedly used fear for entertainment.
