Robert stood up.
“I’m going to the restroom, sweetheart. I’ll be back in five minutes.”
He kissed my forehead and stepped off the bus.
Ten minutes passed.
Then twenty.

When half an hour went by and he still hadn’t returned, I started to panic.
The driver and several passengers went looking for him.
But Robert was nowhere to be found.
His phone was switched off.
Suddenly, the driver returned. His face was pale.
“Mrs. Margaret, please try to stay calm. I recorded something on my phone that I think you need to see.”
He opened a video.
I saw my husband on the screen.
The continuation of this incredible story is in the first comment.
Instead of going to the restroom, Robert had walked toward a black car parked near the rest area.
A beautiful woman in her fifties stepped out.
Robert approached her.
They embraced for a long time.
